Our trip to the Science Centre

We went as a family for a little get away overnight to Sudbury and we went to the Science North for the first day. The kids and I have been a few times as we belong to the homeschool group but this was the first time for Daddy to join us.
They thoroughly enjoyed holding the bugs. Hissing cockroaches and centipedes and many other BIG bugs....
Naomi was not scared at all. She wanted to hold all the bugs right along with her two big brothers.
This was a sand and water table that the children enjoyed playing at. They could build dams and then turn the water on and enjoy their creations.
Trying on the big moose antlers
Imagine having to carry these around all day long....lol
Jesse building his race car with the Kinex. The boys favourite part.
We watched a 4-D movie about wild fires. The boys and Daddy sat in the motion seats and Naomi and I took the stable seats.
Naomi getting ready to watch the movie. Believe it or not she fell sound asleep in her buggy about half way through the movie and it was VERY noisy in there....
Hanging out at our hotel. The kids were fascinated with watching the traffic. Guess when you live in the country it is exciting to see all the big trucks and different kind of cars.
Hanging out being silly at the hotel...
The next day we went to the Big Nickel and went on a mine tour. It was very interesting and the boys were very interested in learning about the dynamite...lol
Taking a rest where the workers would break for their lunch during work hours...

Bird feeder fun, snuggling on the couch and reading books

Owen making faces for the camera...lol...I was so proud of my oldest yesterday, he read Owen the whole "Cat in the Hat book"...Now for those who know Jesse, he has come A LONG way in a few years..I was so overwhelmed with joy for him to be reading a book and enjoying every minute of it...!!!!!!!!!

Posing for the camera, I tried to get them without disturbing them, it was so cute Owen had his head on Jesse' s shoulder and was listening intently....

Naomi and Owen snuggling on the couch, sometimes they get all their blankets from their beds and make a fort and watch a video...Winter fun....

Not sure why this is sideways...lol..Our bird feeder making fun...we took toilet paper rolls and lids to various jars and put some lard in them and then pressed them in the birdseed....

It was a fun afternoon, the boys loved making these and them when they were done they took them all outside and hung them up and waited for the birds.....:)

Jesse enjoying craft time...

Owen liked doing the toilet paper rolls...
