It was getting dark but this is the three kiddos on their new snow racers, Jesse and Owen got them for Christmas. Naomi LOVES tobogganing too and she is right on the front of the racers with her brothers ...NO FEAR in that girl I tell you...She is a thrill seeker...
Owen on his snow racer.....They tried hooking it up to Daddy's 4 wheeler and got a ride behind ...Now that was fun too....

Love the pics, reminds us of when we got to actually play in some snow when we visited...still waiting for snow here (got about 1 inch last night)! So much fun! Love you guys!! Carolyn, Rick, Cassandra, Travis, Kurtis and Silas
Talk about a trip down memory lane... both for when our guys were little and for when we've had those amounts of snow for digging in!
The one night during the winter break we did get snow. It was cold and dark but I sent the boys outside anyways telling them they needed to clean off the deck (knowing full well they'd get sidetracked enjoying the snow). Despite all their complaints about having to go out, my internal predictions were right. They ended up making forts. I joined them and we also built my annual snowman (to which they added a 'snowdog'). The following morning when the snow was crunchy and too hard to play in, I was doubly thankful we'd disregarded conventional playtime!
